As a Relationship Executive, you will manage and grow a diversified portfolio of business banking customers in Geraldton.

Your relationship management, business banking and customer acquisition experience will be the foundation for your success. You will build trusted partnerships, develop a genuine understanding of each customer’s business, and deliver tailored banking solutions that support their goals and long-term growth.

Alongside deepening relationships with existing customers, you will identify new-to-bank opportunities, strengthen local referral networks, and build CommBank’s presence within the Geraldton business community.

Supported by a highly skilled analyst team, product specialists, and integrated systems, you will have more time to focus on what you do best: building relationships, developing opportunities and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

More specifically, you will

• Manage and grow a diversified portfolio of commercial and business banking customers
• Build trusted relationships and develop a deep understanding of each customer’s business, industry, and growth objectives
• Retain and deepen existing relationships by identifying opportunities to deliver additional value
• Proactively identify and acquire new-to-bank customers across the Geraldton market
• Originate, structure, negotiate and execute lending and banking solutions
• Apply sound commercial judgement and maintain a strong focus on credit quality and proactive risk management
• Manage new business transactions from initial opportunity through to execution
• Work closely with analysts, credit partners, product specialists, and internal teams to deliver holistic customer solutions
• Build strong referral networks and connections within the local business and agricultural communities
• Represent CommBank across Geraldton and strengthen our presence in the local market
• ·Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team through knowledge sharing and a commitment to customer excellence

Reporting to the Executive Manager, you will be supported by experienced analysts and specialist partners who work together to deliver positive outcomes for our customers.

We work flexibly to balance customer needs, team collaboration, and home life, combining time in the Geraldton office, on customer sites and working remotely.

We’re interested in hearing from people who

• Have experience in Business Banking, Commercial Banking, Agribusiness Banking, or a related relationship management role
• Pride themselves on building trusted, long-term customer relationships
• Have demonstrated business development capability and a track record of growing portfolios through acquisition and relationship deepening
• Are skilled in deal origination, structuring, and negotiation
• Bring strong commercial acumen and are confident interpreting financial information and understanding business cash flow drivers
• Apply sound credit judgement and take a proactive approach to risk management
• Enjoy working collaboratively with analysts, credit partners and specialist teams
• Have established connections within the Geraldton business or agricultural community, or the ability to quickly build a strong local network
• Are passionate about supporting local businesses and contributing to the success of the Geraldton community
