As a Staff Software Engineer in the Manage & Own Chapter, you'll help shape digital experiences used by millions of Australians to manage one of their most important financial commitments. Driven by the Seamless Variations and Smarter Repayments squads, this chapter is transforming how customers adapt their home loans as life changes and empowering them with smarter ways to take control of their repayments. Working across .NET, ASP.NET Core, React and Next.js, you'll solve complex engineering challenges at scale while delivering secure, intuitive and high-performing customer experiences.

• Build and own end-to-end solutions using .NET / ASP.NET Core, React, and Next.js, delivering scalable, high-performing customer experiences.

• Thrive across the full engineering lifecycle, from architecture and design through to CI/CD, observability, and production support.

• Design and develop secure, resilient APIs and backend platforms with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.

• Create modern, accessible web applications using React and Next.js, leveraging scalable component patterns and performance optimisation.

• Use AI-powered engineering tools to accelerate development, testing, and delivery while maintaining high standards for quality and security.

• Apply strong judgement to identify and mitigate AI-related risks, including vulnerabilities, unsafe dependencies, and inaccurate code outputs.

• Influence technical direction through architecture leadership, engineering best practices, and strategic technology decisions.

• Mentor and uplift engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, technical excellence, and responsible AI adoption.
