Debtors Supervisor

Job Description:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Debtors team
• Oversee the full debtors function and ensure efficient collections processes
• Manage and control a large debtors book
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and governance standards
• Drive collection strategies to improve cash flow and reduce debtor days
• Monitor account reconciliations and resolve outstanding queries
• Review and approve credit notes, account adjustments, and payment allocations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Analyse debtor trends and provide management with accurate reporting
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices within the department
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements

Skills & Experience:

• Strong understanding of financial controls and reporting
• Proven experience supervising or managing a Debtors/Credit Control team
• FMCG industry experience is essential
• Strong debtors book management experience
• Solid understanding of financial controls, governance, and compliance
• Hands-on management style with a willingness to remain operationally involved

Qualification:

• SAICA / SAIPA / AGA(SA) or Matric & Advanced Diploma
