Junior Financial Manager

Job Description:

This role involves:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Managing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring financial integrity
• Reviewing financial information processed by the finance team
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
• Conducting cost analysis and identifying cost-saving opportunities
• Supporting external audits and managing audit requirements
• Reviewing supplier invoices, reconciliations, and payment processes
• Overseeing accounts receivable and debtors’ management
• Supporting payroll administration and payroll reconciliations
• Managing VAT and statutory compliance processes
• Maintaining fixed asset registers and stock control processes
• Providing commercial and financial support to the wider business as required

• 3-5 years' experience as a Financial Accountant
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience working on accounting systems such as QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Strong financial reporting and accounting knowledge
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational and planning abilities
• The ability to build relationships across the business

• B.Com Accounting (or similar)
