Senior Technical Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the MobiLytix Rewards engineering team, driving ownership, accountability, and delivery excellence.
• Own end-to-end engineering delivery, including feature development, product quality, platform stability, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, QA, DevOps, and Support teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and execution plans.
• Provide technical leadership across frontend, backend, APIs, microservices, cloud infrastructure, and data workflows.
• Drive architecture reviews, design governance, code quality, and engineering best practices.
• Ensure adoption of secure development, automated testing, documentation, code review, and quality assurance processes.
• Own production stability through proactive monitoring, issue resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with DevOps teams to strengthen CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, release management, and cloud-native operations.
• Oversee data integrations, workflows, APIs, and platform scalability initiatives.
• Act as the primary engineering escalation point for critical customer, delivery, and production issues.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders, architects, program managers, and business leaders.
• Lead technical discussions, solution reviews, delivery governance, and stakeholder communications.
• Mentor and coach team members on technical expertise, ownership, problem-solving, and career development.
• Drive performance management, capability building, succession planning, and team engagement.

Mandatory Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring full-stack engineering teams in product or SaaS environments.
• Strong technical expertise in:

• Strong understanding of scalable frontend and backend application design.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and modern database technologies.
• Experience working with AWS and cloud-native application deployment models.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, and distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release management practices.
• Practical experience with monitoring, observability, production support, and incident management.
• Strong debugging, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working closely with Product Management, QA, DevOps, Support, and Architecture teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and customer-facing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive delivery accountability, execution excellence, and team performance.
• Strong people management capabilities including coaching, feedback, performance management, and talent development.
• High ownership mindset with a focus on business outcomes and customer success.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in Loyalty, Rewards, Retail, Digital Commerce, FinTech, or Customer Engagement platforms.
• Experience building or managing SaaS and multi-tenant product platforms.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and streaming technologies such as Kafka.
• Exposure to Apache NiFi or similar workflow orchestration and data integration platforms.
• Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), observability, and platform reliability practices.
• Exposure to AI/GenAI use cases in product engineering, analytics, automation, or developer productivity.
• Knowledge of cloud security and secure software development practices.
• Experience driving engineering maturity, platform modernization, and process improvements.
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers and managing customer-facing technical engagements.
• Experience building high-performing teams and driving engineering excellence at scale.
