Assistant Accountant

Concepts S.A., a leading and innovative company in the Spirits & Beverages industry, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our Accounting team. In this role, you will be involved in the full scope of our accounting operations, contributing directly to the department's efficiency and supporting the company's ongoing expansion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting operations and bookkeeping activities
• Post daily journal entries, update general ledgers, and track financial transactions
• Perform monthly supplier and general ledger reconciliations
• Maintain accurate accounting records and filing systems
• Support the preparation and submission of agreements
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting processes
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities and ad-hoc projects as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1 - 2 years of experience in a similar accounting position
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and Greek Accounting Standards (ELP)
• Familiarity with the myDATA platform and general tax regulations
• Proficiency of MS Office and familiarity with ERP software, preferably Entersoft
• Fluency in both Greek and English (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work effectively within a team and meet deadlines
