The Role & Responsibilities

As our Senior Mechanical Tender Engineer, you will lead the charge in transforming complex project requirements into competitive and winning proposals. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive technical and commercial reviews of tender documents.

  • Developing accurate cost estimations for mechanical systems including HVAC, Firefighting, and Plumbing.

  • Managing the preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and technical submittals.

  • Collaborating with the procurement team to secure competitive vendor quotations.

  • Identifying potential risks and providing innovative value engineering solutions to optimize costs.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled professional who brings both technical depth and commercial acumen to the table. To excel in this role, you will need:

  • 5-7 years of solid experience in Mechanical Tendering and Cost Estimation within the engineering sector.

  • A strong background in Mechanical Engineering with a deep understanding of HVAC, Firefighting, and Plumbing systems.

  • Proven expertise in AutoCAD and advanced Cost Estimation software.

  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • A track record of delivering high-quality technical proposals under tight deadlines.

  • Experienced-level career expectations with a focus on leadership and technical mastery.
