Overview:
Vanity Fair is seeking a Coordinating Producer to join its fast-paced video team. This role partners closely with the Senior Producer, Creative Producer, and Directors of Content & Development to produce and occasionally direct high-impact digital video. The Coordinating Producer has experience executing high concept digital videos, has knowledge of production best practices and always delivers with remarkable results.
This role reports into Vanity Fair’s Director of Video Content Production.
Primary Responsibilities
Coordinate and support Vanity Fair’s YouTube and social video productions from pre-production through final delivery.
Support production logistics, including call sheets, equipment, locations, and additional on-set needs.
Be on set for assigned productions and support day-of logistics, leading load-in/load-out, and liaising with the location contacts and all production personnel.
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams, external production companies, crews, talent, and talent representatives.
Conduct research as needed for talent, projects, locations, interview subjects, and other editorial or production needs.
Take on additional production and administrative responsibilities as needed to support the broader Vanity Fair video team.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years experience producing and developing digital videos on various platforms.
A demonstrated track record in production execution.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in video, television, digital media, or a similar production environment.
Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Detail-oriented, solutions-oriented, and able to anticipate needs in fast-paced environments.
Understanding of production and post-production workflows.
Passion for news, entertainment, fashion, culture, and Vanity Fair’s coverage areas.
Editing experience is a plus.
Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
The expected base salary range for this position is from $77,500 - $83,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation.
