**Full-Time Class B Dump Truck Driver - Construction & Paving**

**Location:** Southeast Wyoming

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Full-Time Class B Dump Truck Driver to support our civil construction and paving operations in southeast Wyoming. This role involves hauling aggregates, asphalt, dirt, gravel, and related materials to and from active job sites, including roadways, commercial developments, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience operating dump trucks in construction environments, a clean driving record, and the ability to work productively in varying weather and site conditions common to the region.

This is a full-time, year-round position with the potential for overtime during peak construction and paving seasons.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate Class B dump trucks to transport materials (aggregates, hot mix asphalt, base course, spoil, etc.) between plants, stockpiles, and active construction/paving sites.

- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations; report mechanical issues promptly.

- Load and unload materials efficiently, coordinating with loaders, pavers, graders, and site supervisors.

- Navigate construction sites, rural roads, and highways while adhering to site-specific safety protocols, traffic control plans, and speed restrictions.

- Maintain accurate logs of hours, loads, mileage, and fuel usage (electronic logging device compliance required).

- Assist with minor equipment maintenance, cleaning of the truck and dump body, and basic site support tasks as needed.

- Follow all company, DOT, OSHA, and Wyoming Department of Transportation safety and environmental policies.

- Communicate effectively with dispatch, foremen, and other crew members regarding schedules, delays, or site conditions.

- Adapt to changing daily assignments, weather conditions, and project priorities typical of southeast Wyoming construction seasons.

Minimum Qualifications

- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with air brake endorsement (required).

- Minimum 1-2 years of recent experience operating dump trucks in construction, paving, aggregate, or heavy civil environments.

- Clean driving record with no major violations or preventable accidents in the past 3-5 years.

- Ability to pass a DOT physical, pre-employment drug screen, and background check.

- Strong knowledge of DOT hours-of-service regulations and electronic logging devices (ELDs).

- Physically able to climb into and out of the cab, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and work outdoors in a range of weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, and snow common in southeast Wyoming).

- Reliable transportation to the reporting location and willingness to work early starts, overtime, and occasional weekends during peak periods.

- Ability to read and follow maps, GPS directions, and site plans; basic written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience hauling hot mix asphalt or working directly with paving crews.

- Additional endorsements or experience with other construction equipment (e.g., belly dump, side dump, or light equipment).

- Prior work on public works, highway, or commercial site projects in Wyoming or the surrounding region.

- Current MSHA or OSHA 10/30 certification (or willingness to obtain).

- Familiarity with southeast Wyoming road networks, weather patterns, and seasonal construction demands.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

This is a physically active outdoor role involving prolonged sitting, climbing, bending, and exposure to dust, noise, vibration, and extreme weather. Drivers must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and work safely around heavy equipment and live traffic.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive hourly wage based on experience, with overtime opportunities during the construction season. Benefits package typically includes health insurance options, paid time off, and other standard offerings (specific details provided during the interview process).

How to Apply

Interested candidates should submit a current resume highlighting CDL status, relevant driving experience, and a brief summary of construction or paving background. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Apply at www.conresllc.com
