What Are We Looking For?

We are seeking an experienced and technically-minded Partner Engineer to serve as the technical backbone of Contentstack’s EMEA partner ecosystem. You’ll work across systems integrators, digital agencies, ISVs, and technology alliance partners to help them confidently architect, build, and sell Contentstack-based solutions.

Unlike a traditional pre-sales Solutions Engineer who owns the technical win on an individual opportunity, this role is focused on scaling our partners’ technical capabilities. You’ll own the technical relationship for a portfolio of 20-30 strategic EMEA partners and help them build the skills, solutions, and confidence to succeed without Contentstack in the room.

This role sits within Product Experience, which sets the enablement approach and roadmap for our partner ecosystem, and works closely with the Partnerships team on account strategy and co-sell. Success is measured by what your partners can do independently and the strength of the technical ecosystem you help build.

• Own partner technical enablement: Build and execute enablement strategies across your portfolio, including training, certification paths, sandbox environments, tech talks, workshops, and office hours. Help shape our partner certification program alongside Academy and Enablement.
• Review partner solutions: Evaluate partner-built accelerators, integrations, and marketplace apps for architecture, performance, and alignment with Contentstack best practices, providing clear and credible technical feedback.
• Support pipeline and co-sell: Partner with Contentstack account teams on technical discovery, architecture reviews, demos, and POCs for partner-sourced and partner-influenced opportunities.
• Guide integration and solution architecture: Help partners design reference architectures and integrations across commerce, DAM, search, personalization, CDP, and emerging technologies.
• Support data governance and EU hosting: Serve as a technical resource on GDPR, data residency, and EU hosting considerations, helping partners design solutions that meet European data protection requirements.
• Own technical relationships: Serve as the senior technical point of contact for your named partners and build trusted relationships with their solution architects and engineering leaders.
• Create a feedback loop: Capture partner and field feedback on product, training, documentation, MCP, AI tooling, and competitive positioning, and bring those insights directly to Product and Developer Experience teams.

What Really Gets Us Excited About You?

• 5-8 years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or solutions architecture within SaaS or PaaS, ideally across CMS, DXP, commerce, MACH, or composable technologies.
• Hands-on experience with headless and composable architectures, including APIs, SSR/SSG frameworks such as Next.js and Nuxt, and modern front-end delivery patterns.
• You’re genuinely hands-on. You may not write production code every day, but you can build a working prototype when a partner conversation calls for one and are comfortable using AI coding tools such as Claude Code to move quickly.
• Familiarity across the Contentstack product family, with real depth in at least two areas such as hosting and delivery, CMS, DXP, CDP and personalization, or AI agents.
• Proven experience working in a partner or channel motion, with the ability to enable others to lead technical conversations rather than always owning them yourself.
• A track record of building and owning senior technical relationships with external organizations.
• Strong presentation, communication, and workshop facilitation skills for technical partner audiences.
• Working knowledge of agentic AI patterns, including MCP, with hands-on experience integrating generative AI into applications.
• Working knowledge of GDPR, data residency, and EU hosting considerations as they apply to digital experience platforms.
• Ability to translate fluently between technical partner teams and internal Product and Engineering stakeholders.
• Multilingual experience, with business fluency in a second European language alongside English, is a strong plus.
• Experience with CMS or DXP vendors such as Contentful, Storyblok, Magnolia, CoreMedia, Optimizely, Sitecore, or Adobe Experience Manager, or with the SI and agency partners implementing them, is a plus.
• Experience with commerce platforms such as commercetools, Shopify, or SAP Commerce Cloud, or search and personalization tools such as Algolia and Coveo, is a plus.
• Familiarity with partner program mechanics such as deal registration, PRM, co-sell tooling, and certification tiers is a plus.
• You are comfortable traveling up to 25% to partner sites, customer locations, and industry events.

Salary for this role ranges between €80,000-100,000 based on skill set and experience
