ICT Manager - Digital Project Delivery

Lyngby

Full-time permanent

Language: English and Danish fluently

Hybrid

Do you want to lead ICT management and digital delivery on complex civil infrastructure projects? Can you translate contractual and project-specific ICT requirements into clear governance, practical workflows and successful technical implementation? Are you motivated by bringing clients, project management, engineering disciplines and digital specialists together on projects such as bridges, tunnels, marine structures and other major infrastructure? Then this could be the next step in your career.

Lead ICT management from requirements to implementation

As our new ICT expert, you will lead ICT management, digital governance and digital delivery on multidisciplinary civil infrastructure projects. Our work includes bridges, tunnels, marine structures and other major infrastructure, often involving complex interfaces between disciplines, organisations and project phases.

You will advise clients and project organization, translate contractual and project-specific requirements into practical processes and workflows, and drive their technical implementation in collaboration with project management, engineering disciplines and digital specialists.

The position is a project-based leadership role and combines professional leadership of the ICT process, leadership of the project’s digital delivery and client-facing advice.

Your key responsibilities will include

  • Lead ICT management and digital delivery through relevant project phases, from mobilisation and planning to execution and handover.
  • Advise clients and project management on ICT requirements, BIM processes, information management and digital governance.
  • Prepare, maintain and implement project-specific ICT documentation based on Molio’s ICT paradigms, contractual requirements and relevant industry standards.
  • Translate requirements into clear roles, responsibilities, workflows, digital deliverables and quality-assurance procedures.
  • Establish the project’s digital delivery framework, including model and information requirements, naming conventions, exchange procedures, coordination processes and Common Data Environment structures.
  • Drive the technical implementation of ICT requirements together with project management, engineering disciplines, BIM coordinators, Digital Design specialists and other technical contributors.
  • Facilitate ICT kick-off meetings, workshops and coordination activities, ensuring that agreed processes are understood and applied across the project organisation.
  • Manage interfaces with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, project managers, discipline leads, architects, contractors, and international delivery teams.
  • Identify opportunities for project-specific automation and digital improvements and coordinate their implementation with the relevant specialists.
  • Contribute lessons learned and proven workflows to the continued development of COWI’s ICT management practices.

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.

The first step to success in this role is that you enjoy creating structure and direction together with others. You communicate clearly, build trusted relationships and can align stakeholders with different technical backgrounds, priorities and contractual responsibilities.

You are motivated by turning requirements and strategies into solutions that work in practice. You understand that successful ICT management requires robust governance as well as active involvement in project implementation.

On top of that, you will have:

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience within ICT management, BIM management, digital project delivery or a comparable field in the engineering and construction industry.
  • Practical experience leading ICT management or digital delivery on multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Molio’s ICT paradigms and practical experience applying them on multidisciplinary projects.
  • Knowledge of relevant Danish industry standards and contractual frameworks, including YBL18 and YBB19 where applicable
  • Knowledge of relevant global Industry standards such as ISO 19650
  • Experience translating client and contractual requirements into practical digital processes, workflows and deliverables.
  • Experience driving technical implementation, for example through Common Data Environment structures, coordination workflows, quality-control procedures, data exchanges or automated checking processes.
  • A strong understanding of BIM processes, information management, digital collaboration and multidisciplinary coordination.
  • General knowledge of relevant digital delivery applications such as Revit, Tekla, OpenRoadsDesign
  • Experience with Coordination and Common Data Environment platforms, such as Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud), Navisworks; Bentley Infrastructure Cloud and ProjectWise; and Trimble Connect and Quadri-or comparable systems.
  • Strong planning, facilitation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Danish.

You do not need to be a software developer or perform every technical task yourself. However, you must have sufficient technical understanding to define the project’s needs, involve the right specialists, guide implementation and ensure that the resulting solutions are adopted by the project organisation.

Your professional environment

You will become part of Digital Design within Structures and Digital Engineering. We support the delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects, including bridges, tunnels, marine structures and other major infrastructure.

You will work closely with project management, engineering disciplines and digital specialists to establish consistent digital processes across multidisciplinary projects. You will join a collaborative professional environment where knowledge sharing, technical development and practical project value are closely connected.

The role allows you to influence both individual projects and the continued development of our ICT management practices.
