As a Marketing and Community Coordinator, you are responsible for supporting and executing activities that strengthen our brand presence, engage our community, and ensure consistent communication across channels. You will play a key role in coordinating initiatives that connect our company internally and externally while maintaining a strong digital footprint.

What You Will Be Doing:

Community Engagement & Brand Representation

• Organize and manage internal gatherings (team knowledge-sharing sessions, community-building meetups).
• Coordinate external initiatives such as tech meetups, community networking, and employer branding activities.
• Act as a representative of the company’s culture and values in community-facing efforts.

Content & Social Media Ownership

• Create and maintain a content calendar to align campaigns, posts, and announcements with marketing goals.
• Maintain a social media calendar, ensuring consistent posting and engagement across platforms.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to design, publish, and track engaging content.
• Monitor audience engagement and report on performance.
• Content creation to be focused on busisness development and content that appeals outside of Sri Lanka

Website & Digital Updates

• Maintain and update the company website to ensure accuracy, relevance, and brand consistency.
• Coordinate with designers or developers for new content, pages, or improvements.
• Ensure SEO best practices and user experience are considered in updates.

Marketing Coordination & Support

• Manage trackers and reports for campaigns, email performance, and community engagement.
• Maintain and update marketing databases, lists, and CRM segments.
• Email marketing execution and monitoring
• Support ongoing marketing initiatives,ensuring timely execution and follow-up.
• Assist in employer branding initiatives that strengthen the company’s reputation.

• Consistent and professional representation of the company in all community-facing activities.
• A well-organized and updated content and social media calendar that aligns with strategic goals.
• Smooth execution of internal and external branding initiatives.
• Up-to-date, accurate, and engaging digital presence (website, social media, content).

What We're Looking For:

• A degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
• Around 1-2 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, social media, communications, community engagement, or event coordination. Fresh graduates with strong relevant internship experience may also be considered.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to create clear, professional, and engaging content for different audiences.
• A good understanding of social media platforms, content planning, and digital marketing fundamentals.
• Experience or interest in organizing and coordinating events, including internal gatherings, meetups, networking sessions, and employer branding activities.
• Basic knowledge of website content management, SEO, email marketing, and CRM/database management would be an advantage
• Strong coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities, calendars, trackers, events, and deadlines.
• Comfortable engaging with both internal and external stakeholders and representing the company professionally at events and community initiatives.
• A proactive and creative mindset,with an interest in developing content and campaigns that appeal to international audiences and support business development objectives.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency across content, branding, communications, and digital channels.
• Willingness to learn, take ownership, and contribute across different areas of marketing in a fast-moving environment.
