Client Services Representative

Account & Client Support | Full-Time | Earth City, Missouri

Build your career with a growing company and gain experience supporting clients, consumers, and account operations.

Credit Control is looking for detail-oriented, dependable individuals to join our Client Services team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with information and computer systems, and making sure work is completed accurately and on time.

This is not a traditional phone-based customer service or call center position. Client Services Representatives perform a variety of account, correspondence, and client-support functions depending on their assigned team.

What Does a Client Services Representative Do?

Client Services Representatives support the day-to-day servicing of client accounts. Specific responsibilities vary based on team assignment, business needs, and experience.

Consumer Correspondence & Account Processing

Review and process consumer communications received through mail, email, text, and other channels. Determine the appropriate action based on established procedures, update account information, prepare responses, and ensure correspondence is handled accurately and timely.

Client-Specific Account Processing

Support a designated client or group of accounts by completing required account-processing activities. This may include researching account information, processing validation-of-debt requests, preparing documentation, updating systems, and following specific client requirements and procedures.

Client Support & Reporting

More experienced Client Services Representatives may be assigned directly to support a specific client. Responsibilities may include responding to client requests, preparing reports, coordinating deliverables, researching account questions, monitoring client-specific requirements, and working with internal departments to ensure client needs are met.

What You'll Do

  • Review, research, and process account information accurately and efficiently.
  • Process consumer correspondence received through mail, email, text, and other communication channels.
  • Research and process validation-of-debt requests and supporting documentation.
  • Update account records and information within company systems.

  • Respond to requests using established procedures, templates, and client-specific requirements.
  • Work with Operations, Compliance, and other departments to research and resolve account or client requests.
  • Manage multiple assignments while meeting established deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Follow company, client, and regulatory requirements when handling account information.
  • Protect confidential consumer and client information.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong reading comprehension and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to research information and follow detailed procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • Comfortable learning and working in multiple computer systems.
  • Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to use good judgment within established guidelines.
  • Administrative, data processing, financial services, accounts receivable, insurance, banking, medical billing, or similar experience is a plus.
  • Previous collections or client-support experience is helpful but not required.

Candidates with previous experience may be considered for assignments involving more direct client support, reporting, and client-specific responsibilities.
