About the Role:

CrowdStrike is hiring an Engineering Manager for the Infrastructure team to lead and grow our global team of engineers focused on developing tools to deploy, observe, and maintain a first-class, highly available cloud platform at massive scale. This is a technical leadership role where candidates with strong engineering backgrounds in Golang and proven people management experience will excel.

What You'll Do:

The Infrastructure Engineering Dev team is responsible for building and operating CrowdStrike's internal cloud management platform. As the Engineering Manager, you'll lead a small, remote-first team of full stack engineers building APIs and UIs in Go and TypeScript. You'll be responsible for:

• Managing and mentoring a team of 3-6 full stack engineers

• Providing technical guidance and code review oversight

• Collaborating with senior leadership to execute on roadmaps and priorities

• Ensuring delivery of high-quality software solutions on schedule

• Supporting team culture and individual professional development

• Participating in hiring and onboarding new team members

• Contributing to technical decisions and architectural discussions

What You'll Need:

• US Citizenship or Green card Holder

• 3+ years of people management experience leading software engineering teams

• Extensive hands-on experience in Golang with ability to provide technical guidance

• Strong experience in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern web technologies

• Experience with gRPC and RESTful API development

• Experience with modern SPA frameworks and development practices

• Understanding of Linux environments and cloud-native infrastructure

• Experience operating within cloud platforms, preferably AWS

• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices

• Experience with team leadership, mentoring, and basic hiring processes

• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes. (Create Job Requisition Event)

Bonus Points:

• Python software development experience

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration

• Experience managing distributed/remote teams

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CIS, Engineering, or equivalent experience

• Previous experience in infrastructure or platform engineering domains

This role will require the candidate to periodically undergo and pass additional background and fingerprint check(s) consistent with government customer requirements.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $140,000 - $215,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
