About the Role

You'll be responsible for safely delivering electrical construction and solar installation projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service.

You'll work across a variety of projects, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, professionally, and in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical construction and solar installation work safely and efficiently.
• Complete all work in accordance with company procedures, policies and safe work practices.
• Conduct risk assessments before commencing work and implement appropriate controls.
• Attend and actively participate in pre-starts, toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Work closely with supervisors to prioritise and deliver planned works.
• Communicate any changes or urgent work requirements to supervisors.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members.
• Identify and report equipment defects or damage.
• Ensure compliance with PPE requirements and workplace health and safety legislation.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and minimise waste on site.
• Complete timesheets accurately and submit them on time.
• Notify supervisors of any absences as soon as practicable.
• Treat company and client equipment and property with care and respect.
• Maintain fitness for work and comply with company fatigue and work hours policies.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Essential

• Current Queensland Electrical Licence
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Construction White Card
• Current CPR certification
• Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel certification
• Experience in electrical construction and/or commercial solar installations
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service
