As the Digital Product Manager, you will lead the strategy, development, and commercialization of digital solutions-including software, connected services, and IoT-enabled products-within our industrial business. You will bridge engineering, commercial, and customer-facing teams by defining customer use cases and translating them into clear technical requirements that deliver innovative digital offerings, while helping build digital capability within a traditionally manufactured product portfolio.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and adoption.
  • Make trade-off decisions to optimize value, cost, quality, and speed to market.
  • Customer & Requirements Leadership
  • Identify and validate customer, user, and stakeholder needs through data, research, and direct engagement.
  • Drive use case and requirement definition with customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear alignment with technical teams.
  • Serve as the primary advocate for digital solutions across the organization-communicating strategy, progress, and value to all levels.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, data privacy, and enterprise architecture standards.

3. Cross-Functional Delivery & Commercialization

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration among engineering, IT, marketing, and service teams to deliver integrated digital solutions.
  • Champion the transition toward digital capability within a legacy manufacturing environment.
  • Support go-to-market execution, commercialization, and continuous improvement post-launch.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Communicate product progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership with clarity and transparency.
  • Champion user-centric design and continuous feedback loops.
  • Partner with change management and communications teams to drive adoption and value realization.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and digital trends relevant to the product domain.
  • Drive continuous improvement through experimentation, iteration, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Retire or rationalize low-value features and technical debt where appropriate.
