This is an exciting opportunity for a proven program leader who thrives in fast-paced, mission-driven environments and wants to make a meaningful impact supporting critical U.S. Air Force operations worldwide.

What You’ll Do in Your New Role

  • Serve as the designated alternate to the Program Manager and exercise delegated authority for contract and task-order matters.
  • Support day-to-day Program Management Office operations and implementation of the AFCAP Management Plan.
  • Coordinate multiple task orders, Site Managers, functional leads, partners, and subcontractors across dispersed locations.
  • Support 24/7 on-call readiness, urgent proposal actions, mobilization, deployment, and mission-response activities.
  • Monitor cost, schedule, staffing, quality, safety, security, property, procurement, subcontractor performance, risks, and deliverables.
  • Ensure actions and records comply with contract requirements, task-order requirements, Government direction, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and review program reports, briefings, action-item trackers, corrective-action plans, and decision materials.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Contracting Officer, Government Program Manager, customers, Site Managers, and corporate leadership.
  • Help verify personnel qualifications, clearances, training, medical readiness, and deployment documentation.
  • Assume Program Manager duties during absences or as directed to ensure uninterrupted leadership and contract performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Current active Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, logistics, program management, or a related field.
  • At least two years of program management experience within the last seven years.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Government appropriations.
  • Experience in engineering, construction, services, or commodities.
  • Strong knowledge of Government acquisition processes.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple task orders valued above $400,000.
  • Ability to coordinate geographically dispersed teams and operate effectively under compressed timelines.
  • Strong written, verbal, organizational, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • PMP or comparable program-management certification.
  • Experience with contingency contracting, expeditionary operations, IDIQ programs, and cost-reimbursable and firm-fixed-price task orders.
