Job Description

About the Role:

  • Technical leadership: Lead the hard-services team, provide technical oversight, and act as the single point of contact with the client on technical, engineering, maintenance, operational and administration issues.
  • Maintenance governance: Plan, coordinate and review PPM and corrective maintenance across electrical, mechanical, fire, water, fuel, building and monitoring systems, including rack power-up support; ensure monthly PPM is completed to schedule, with documented reasons and mitigation plans for any deviation.

  • Vendor and call-out management: Coordinate specialist vendors, validate technical findings, monitor response and repair activity, and ensure fault-analysis reports are complete and corrective maintenance proposals are submitted within five business days in line with agreed direct-cost rates.
  • Engineering reporting: Establish consistent technical reports across all services; ensure work orders are closed accurately within four weeks of initiation; complete RCA/RCFA with action plans within one week of an incident; and provide technical input to the monthly management report within the first five working days of each month.
  • People leadership: Manage recruitment, performance assessment, coaching, competency development, team building and technical training for the engineering team.
  • Safety and compliance: Ensure worksite safety, PPE, K3 controls, permits, isolation controls and Safety, Security and Environmental requirements are implemented.
  • Competence and certification: Maintain the engineering competency matrix and ensure all mandatory certifications and statutory trainings (First Aid, Fire Fighting Class D, Teknisi K3 Listrik, TKBT 1/Working at Height, Scaffolding Operator and manufacturer fire-system training) and annual client in-house refreshers are completed.
  • Statutory compliance: Track and coordinate periodic licence and certificate renewals, including SLO/SLF, fire-system (Damkar) and K3 Umum documentation, and maintain inspection evidence for audits.

About You:

  • 7+ years of engineering and maintenance experience in mission-critical environments, preferably hyperscale or colocation data centres, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or chief-engineer role.
  • Relevant degree, diploma or trade qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience leading technical personnel, maintenance programmes, contractors and incident resolution.
