Senior Mac OS/iOS Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications for macOS and iOS.

- Build modern user interfaces using Swift and SwiftUI.

- Develop concurrent and responsive applications using Swift's concurrency model and Grand Central Dispatch (GCD).

- Work with Apple's multimedia and graphics frameworks, including Core Graphics, Core Media, Core Video, AVFoundation, Video Toolbox, and Audio Toolbox.

- Integrate and maintain native components written in C and/or Objective-C.

- Optimize application performance, reliability, memory usage, and responsiveness.

- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver production-ready features.

- Troubleshoot complex platform, performance, multimedia, and concurrency-related issues.

- Contribute to architecture and technical decisions for cross-platform Apple applications.

Required Qualifications :

- Strong proficiency in Swift 5+ and SwiftUI.

- Good understanding of Swift concurrency, including async/await and related concurrency concepts.

- Hands-on experience developing applications for both macOS and iOS.

- Experience working with one or more of the following Apple frameworks : Core Graphics, Core Media, Core Video, AVFoundation, Video Toolbox, Audio Toolbox.

- Strong knowledge of Grand Central Dispatch (GCD) and multithreaded programming.

- Hands-on experience with C or Objective-C in a live/production product.

- Strong understanding of software development fundamentals, debugging, and performance optimization.

- Experience taking features from development through production deployment and maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Metal and writing Metal Shaders.

- Experience with Apple's Accelerate framework.

- Experience with ARM intrinsics and low-level performance optimization.

- Experience working on graphics, audio/video, media processing, or other performance-sensitive applications.

- Understanding of CPU/GPU optimization and hardware-aware software development.

Technical Skills :

Must Have :

Good to Have :
