Job Role:
The QHSEManager is responsible forall Quality, Health, Safety, Cyber Security and Environmental compliance in the US,including audits, maintainingISO accreditations including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001 & KPIs.The QHSE Manager will be responsible formaintaining QHSE relatedinformation up to date on allCustomer Platforms for accreditations and procurement purposes.
Key Accountabilities:
The QHSEManager is responsible forthe following:
Health -Safety& Environment
- Strategic oversight of field safety - Support US Field Safety Manager with proactive safety initiatives
- Drive a positive and open Health and Safety Culture in the US
- Define objectivesand annual plans
- Lead US internal and external audits including ISO audits
- Roll out best practice across the business
- Produce HSE reports for the Senior Leadership Team and Board Review
- Ensureexisting H&S process and policies are fit for purpose and reflect regulatory developments
- Organise quarterly Safety Committees
- Support tender processes and keep customer portals up to date
- Raise internal awareness and advise on necessary training
- Support the Global QHSE Manager implementing and reporting on ESG objectives and actions
- Keep up-to-dateon legislationchanges/regulations and be a reference to others
- Safey investigations
- Management of ISN
- Management of TSP for PG&E
- Support to risk assessments (JHA/RAMS)
- Update risk register (new equipment and procedures)
Quality
- Ensure all Quality processes are accurate, up to date and being used in practice
- Supports the creation of quality Assurance Plans where necessary
- Agree, track and report on KPI
- Keep up-to-dateon legislation changes/regulations and be a reference to others
Cybersecurity
- Ensure all Cybersecurity processes are accurate, up to date and being used in practice
- Lead US internal and external audits including ISO audits
- Agree and track and report on KPIs
- Liaise with line Managers to implement Information Security Policies, risk assessmentsand support operational procedures
Essential Qualifications/Experience
- Previousexperience in leading ISO audits.
- Previousexperience in working on aninterdisciplinary team and cross-functional collaborationwith different partsof the business.
- Experience of working in a multi-national organisation.
- Intermediate Level user of Office365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
- Outstanding communication and people skills.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent eye for detail and capacity to create and follow corporate and regional procedures.
- Internal auditing qualification.
- Certified Safety Professional or Associate Safety Professional Certifications
- 5+ years leading QHSE in a utilitiesenvironment
