Senior Fullstack Developer (Python + React)

At Cyclad, we work with top international IT companies to help them deliver cutting-edge technologies that shape the future. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Fullstack Developer to join an international team working on a state-of-the-art AI-enabled application.

In this role, you will work across the full technology stack, developing backend services and APIs using Python and modern frontend applications using React. You will contribute to transforming exploratory Proof-of-Concepts developed by Data Scientists into robust, scalable, production-ready solutions while working with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), cloud-native architectures, and intelligent process automation.

The application digitalizes and automates procurement and sourcing processes using modern AI capabilities to deliver business value at scale. You will collaborate closely with Data Scientists, AI Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Product Owners, and other Backend and Frontend Developers to build innovative end-to-end solutions.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack solutions using Python and React
• Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python
• Build modern, responsive, and user-friendly React applications
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and AI-driven functionality
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to understand exploratory POCs, models, and notebooks
• Transform experimental data science code and notebooks into production-ready, maintainable systems
• Refactor and productionize exploratory code, including Streamlit applications, scripts, and prototypes
• Implement scalable and maintainable backend business logic
• Contribute to technical design decisions across both backend and frontend architecture
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineers on deployment setup, runtime architecture, environment configuration, and CI/CD
• Support data-intensive application workflows and system integrations
• Ensure application components meet requirements for security, observability, scalability, and operational supportability
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and continuous improvement
• Work closely with Data Scientists, AI Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Product Owners, and other developers

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in full stack development
• Strong hands-on experience with both Python backend development and React frontend development
• Experience with a modern Python web framework
• Strong experience designing, building, and maintaining REST APIs
• Solid experience building modern React applications, including state management, hooks, and API integration
• Practical experience working with AWS and cloud-based application environments
• Experience transforming exploratory or experimental code into production-ready systems
• Good understanding of full stack architecture, system integration patterns, and interface design
• Experience with Git and Agile software development practices
• Understanding of scalable, secure, and maintainable application development
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional international team involving Data Science, AI, Backend, Frontend, Cloud, and Product stakeholders

Nice to have:

• Experience with data pipelines or data-intensive applications
• Experience working with AI/ML-oriented systems, including inference endpoints, model-serving components, or LLM-based workflows
• Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
• Familiarity with SAP-related interfaces or enterprise integration technologies such as OData, APIs, IDoc, RFC, or BAPI
• Experience with Docker and containerized application delivery
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices
• Knowledge of secure API design, authentication, and authorization patterns
• Experience with data visualization in React or other frontend technologies for presenting AI/ML outputs to end users
