Systems Technician (Contracts)

Support day-to-day IT operations and project work across Windows PCs, AV and video conferencing devices, and mobile devices, keeping equipment and software downtime as low as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and device issues quickly.
• Carry out hands-on repairs on IT equipment.
• Respond to support requests in person, over the phone, and through tickets.
• Support remote users and give clear technical advice and explanations.
• Help train users on technology and common issues.
• Support IT operations tasks and work with other IT teams and external vendors.
• Keep IT inventory up to date and report damaged or faulty equipment.
• Monitor company IT systems and make sure users follow IT policies.
• Contribute to IT projects alongside day-to-day support.

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or a systems technician role.
• Hands-on experience with Windows PCs and laptops.
• Experience supporting AV and video conferencing equipment (meeting rooms, Zoom or Teams devices).
• Experience supporting mobile devices (iOS and Android).
• Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/Wi-Fi).
• Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Identity and access tools such as Active Directory, Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID, and MFA.
• MDM and endpoint tools such as Jamf, Intune, or Workspace ONE.
• macOS support experience.
• ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
• Device imaging and new-hire onboarding.
