Job Summary :
We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist with strong hands-on experience in Machine Learning, Python programming, and SQL. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of data science methodologies, machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling. The role involves analyzing complex datasets, developing and implementing machine learning models, extracting actionable insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve business problems using data-driven approaches.
Must-Have Skills:
- 3+ years of professional experience in Data Science and Machine Learning.
- Strong hands-on experience in Python programming for data analysis, model development, and implementation.
- Strong SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, subqueries, and complex query writing.
- Good understanding of machine learning algorithms and their practical applications.
- Experience with data preprocessing, data cleaning, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
- Hands-on experience with Python libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
- Experience building, training, evaluating, and optimizing machine learning models.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, probability, and predictive modeling techniques.
- Ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful business insights.
- Experience evaluating model performance using appropriate metrics and validation techniques.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Knowledge of NLP, Generative AI, or Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Python visualization libraries.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with big data technologies such as PySpark or Databricks.
- Knowledge of model deployment, APIs, and productionizing machine learning models.
- Experience working with real-world business datasets and translating business requirements into data science solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze datasets and derive actionable business insights.
- Develop, train, and optimize machine learning models using Python.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions.
- Maintain documentation and improve existing models.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
