Overview

Dabble is in an exciting phase of growth, and as we continue to scale, our People & Culture function needs to evolve with us. We’re looking for a People Partnering Manager to lead our People Partnering team and help shape build high performance across the business.

This is an opportunity to genuinely build, influence and evolve. You’ll have the space to challenge how we do things today, identify where we can mature and introduce people practices that support where Dabble is heading next.

You’ll lead a small team of People Partners across three time zones while remaining hands-on yourself, partnering directly with Executives, GMs and Heads of across the business. You’ll coach leaders through complex people decisions, help them build stronger teams and bring the People lens to decisions around performance, capability, structure and growth.

The remit is broad, spanning performance and remuneration cycles, employee relations, leadership coaching, learning and development, workforce planning, career growth and organisational change. We’re looking for someone who can bring strong foundations and frameworks, while still being comfortable operating with the pace, ambiguity and hands-on nature of a scaling business.

Primary Location

This role is currently open to locations in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the People Partnering team across multiple regions, setting clear priorities and building capability across the team

• Partner with Executives, GMs and Heads of, becoming a trusted advisor on people, performance, capability and organisational decisions

• Coach leaders and people managers to lift their capability across performance, feedback, development and challenging conversations

• Lead Dabble’s performance and remuneration cycles, including leader engagement, calibration and outcome conversations

• Manage complex performance and employee relations matters end-to-end, applying strong judgement across business, people and legal considerations

• Lead workforce and succession planning, helping leaders understand the capability, structure and talent they need as Dabble grows

• Drive learning, leadership development and career growth initiatives that build capability across the business

• Support organisational design and change initiatives, helping leaders and their teams navigate growth and transformation

• Use people and workforce data to identify trends, risks and opportunities and turn these into practical recommendations for leaders

• Identify opportunities to improve our people frameworks, processes and ways of working as the business continues to scale

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in People Partnering, HR Business Partnering or a similar role, with significant experience leading and developing teams

• Experience in an established business with mature people frameworks, combined with exposure to a start-up, scale-up or similarly fast moving environment

• A hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead a team while remaining close to the day-to-day needs of the business

• Demonstrated experience partnering with and influencing executives, GMs and senior leaders

• Strong experience leading performance cycles, remuneration reviews and performance management

• Strong employee relations experience with the judgement and confidence to manage complex matters end-to-end

• Experience coaching leaders and building leadership capability, alongside strong learning, development and career growth experience

• An agile and influential communicator who builds strong relationships quickly and can clearly articulate the value People & Culture brings to business performance

Remuneration

The advertised salary for this position is $150,000 - $160,000 + Super + Benefits with room to be flexible.
