The Direct Sourcing Leader - APAC is responsible for accelerating supplier performance and drive improvements in key areas for Cytiva from Quality, Cost, Delivery and Security perspective for a portfolio of suppliers.

What you will do:

· Develop, communicate and execute Sourcing strategies for a local portfolio of suppliers, ensuring cost efficiency, quality and delivery performance. Drive ongoing supplier optimization and continuous improvement.

· Participate in New Product Introduction projects as well as activities related to quality and fulfilment.

· Perform continuous monitoring and development of suppliers together with Supplier Delivery Leaders and Supplier Quality.

· Act as local escalation point for buyers in case of poor delivery performance from suppliers.

· Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers, and prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of

goods, services and supplies for customer-related business processes or for internal use.

Who you are:

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Production Technology, Logistics or High school with minimum 7 years work experience from Sourcing or relevant Supply Chain role.

· Work experience from Sourcing or relevant Supply Chain role

· You have the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships

· You connect well with all levels within an organization and your track record show that you deliver on your commitments.

· Analytical mind and data driven

· Willingness to travel

· Preferably you have experience from working with ERP systems, e.g. Oracle

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

· Oracle BIOPROD ERP

· Magic PDM
