The Marketing Program Specialist is responsible for evaluating, qualifying, nurturing, and routing inbound marketing leads to the sales organization. This role serves as a critical link between Marketing and Sales, ensuring high-quality leads are converted into pipeline opportunities. The specialist will utilize CRM and marketing automation tools to assess customer interest, verify buying intent, engage prospects, and maintain data quality while driving lead conversion and funnel growth.

This position reports to the Marketing Manager, India & South-West Asia and is part of the Marketing team located in Bangalore and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity for:

1. Lead Qualification: Evaluate and qualify leads generated through marketing campaigns, including online inquiries, event registrations, and content downloads, to determine their quality and sales-readiness based on predefined criteria, ensuring they meet the qualifications and fit the target buyer profile. This includes conducting thorough research and verification of lead information to ensure accuracy and relevance, including company size, industry, contact details, and any additional qualifying factors.

2. Data Quality and Accuracy: Ensure our CRM database for Accounts and Contacts is maintained to the target Quality Standard.

3. Data Analysis: Analyze leads and campaign data to measure the effectiveness of funnel development initiatives, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization. Analyze lead data and perform lead scoring to identify high-potential prospects.

4. Lead Nurturing: Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop lead nurturing strategies and campaigns to engage and further qualify prospects who are not yet ready for sales handoff.

5. Communication and Collaboration: Coordinate closely with the marketing and sales teams to facilitate seamless lead handoff, ensuring all necessary information is provided and documented.

6. Reporting: Generate regular reports on KPIs including lead quality, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and identify areas for improvement. Present insights into the Marketing team.

7. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine lead qualification processes and criteria including lead scoring, segmentation, and nurturing workflows to optimize lead conversion rates and enhance overall marketing and sales effectiveness.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy/chemistry/life sciences/biotechnology or related field. A postgraduate degree in Marketing/Management is preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in marketing, lead qualification, or related roles, in a Life Science, Medical Devices/Diagnostics or related B2B industry.
• Experience using CRM such as Salesforce, and marketing automation platforms. Proficiency in MS-Office including tools such as MS-Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze, interpret, and present data, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions to optimize lead qualification processes.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with both internal teams and external prospects. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently with minimal guidance & extend support as a resource for colleagues.
