The Impact You'll Make
Danfoss Power Solutions is seeking a results-driven Account Manager to expand profitable sales within our Data Center distribution channel. Reporting to the North America Sales Manager, this role focuses on growing new business and supporting existing partners. The ideal candidate will leverage their data center industry expertise to showcase the value of Danfoss's system-based solutions and cultivate strong relationships with key channel partners.
The primary territory is Texas, with additional locations as needed. Travel is estimated at 50%.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborate with channel partners to identify and secure new business opportunities, meeting sales and pipeline goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors and indirect customers as the primary field sales representative.
- Utilize a professional sales process to understand customer needs, present appropriate solutions, and drive profitable growth.
- Plan and execute sales strategies, conduct quarterly business reviews, and provide product training for assigned partners.
- Gather and report market intelligence using CRM software and provide regular updates to sales management.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- 3+ years of experience in the data center industry, technical sales (hydraulics/electronics), or a related manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Ability to travel up to 50%, including internationally.
