The Impact You'll Make
Danfoss in Easley, SC is seeking a 1st shift Assembler I to oversee the complete assembly process within a designated cell, from initial setup through final testing. This role operates Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Load and position valves into assembly fixtures with precision. Transport valves to designated workstations efficiently.
- Ensure production targets are consistently achieved. Immediately notify the supervisor of any assembly supply shortages.
- Carefully interpret and adhere to instructions from engineering blueprints, work instructions, and Engineering Test Orders.
- Skillfully operate assembly and torque tools. Inspect defective valves and conduct repairs to meet required specifications.
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Candidates should demonstrate basic math proficiency and strong reading and writing skills.
- The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift up to 50 lbs. good motor skills are essential.
- Mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes are necessary. Experience with TPM and SMED methodologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality and problem-solving tools such as PPAP, capability studies, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 4-Step, 8D, and Fishbone diagrams is expected.
