Its careers board lists quality, test and application engineers, production operators and assemblers, project and sales engineers, and student workers.

The Impact You'll Make

As a Manufacturing Readiness Engineer, you will play a key role in bridging product development and manufacturing. Your work will ensure that design changes and new prototype requirements are translated into successful production builds, helping Danfoss bring innovative products to market efficiently and with high quality.

In this highly collaborative role, you will create the structure, alignment, and transparency needed to move prototypes smoothly from engineering into production. By coordinating stakeholders across engineering, planning, and manufacturing, you will help identify risks early, capture valuable learnings, and contribute to continuous improvement of our prototype and industrialization processes.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will serve as the central coordinator for prototype readiness activities, ensuring all stakeholders have what they need to execute successful prototype builds. Furhtermore, you will:

  • Review and assess new prototype requests, understanding technical changes and their impact on production processes.
  • Validate product changes in PLM and SAP, including bills of materials, components, and related product data.
  • Create and maintain a clear overview of prototype activities, priorities, material requirements, equipment needs, and timing.
  • Coordinate closely with planning, production, and manufacturing engineering to ensure the right resources and equipment are available for prototype builds.
  • Follow up on prototype execution, facilitate lessons learned activities, and ensure insights are captured and translated into process improvements.

Working closely with product engineers, production engineers, planners, and manufacturing teams, you will ensure that prototype activities are executed efficiently and that valuable feedback is incorporated into future product and process improvements.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who thrives in a cross-functional environment and enjoys creating structure, clarity, and momentum in complex projects.

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally supported by a technical or engineering background.
  • Proven project coordination or project management skills, with the ability to drive activities forward, manage priorities, and ensure follow-through on key actions.
  • Understanding of production processes, product changes, components, and bills of materials (BOMs), preferably with experience supporting product introductions, engineering changes, prototypes, or industrialization activities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling collaboration across functions, locations, and disciplines.
  • Experience with PLM and SAP systems and knowledge of electronics manufacturing or PCBA production processes are advantageous.
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

You are proactive, organized, and comfortable taking ownership. You naturally create structure around complex activities and enjoy bringing people together to achieve a common goal.

What You'll Get from Us

You will help engineer a better future by contributing to solutions that make a real difference around the world.

In this role, you will gain unique exposure to the entire journey from product design changes to manufacturing execution. You will collaborate with experts across engineering and operations while playing a key role in shaping how new products and changes are successfully introduced into production.

We will support your career growth with mentoring, learning opportunities, and access to global career paths.

You will have the flexibility, autonomy, and support you need to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

You will be part of an inclusive workplace where people of all backgrounds are respected, valued, and empowered to succeed.

You will receive a competitive rewards package that includes benefits such as an annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, health insurance, and more. As a global company, these benefits vary by country and contract.
