The Impact You'll Make
As a Metrology Technician, you will be an important part of our metrology team. Through your expertise, you will provide reliable and accurate measurements that support new product development as well as the quality and stability of production processes.
You will actively contribute to the development of measurement methods, the improvement of laboratory processes, and the delivery of high-quality, timely measurement results.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform measurements using 3D coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), optical measuring equipment, a contour measuring system, and manual measuring tools.
- Support projects related to the development and introduction of new products.
- Take care of measuring equipment and perform the required calibrations and validations.
- Develop and improve measurement methods.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement of processes within the metrology laboratory.
What We're Looking For
- At least upper-secondary technical education.
- Practical knowledge of or experience with 3D coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and other measuring equipment.
- Good knowledge of GD&T and geometric tolerancing.
- Fluency in Slovenian is mandatory; working knowledge of English is also required for collaboration in an international environment.
- Knowledge of basic quality and statistical tools, such as SPC and MSA.
