System Administrator

We are looking for a Junior System Administrator to join our growing team in Ukraine.

Requirements:
At least 6 months of experience as a System Administrator or in a related technical role.
Understanding of account management, access control, and user permissions.
Experience with password managers such as 1Password or alternatives (Bitwarden, LastPass, KeePass).
Experience administering corporate services (Google Workspace, Jira, Slack, etc.).
Practical scripting skills for automating routine tasks using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar tools.
Understanding of information security principles and the handling of confidential credentials.
Basic understanding of server administration and how proxies, VPNs, and DNS work.
Basic knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, and HTTP/HTTPS.
Knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
Ability to independently research technical information, analyze problems, and find solutions.
Experience working with technical documentation.
Attention to detail, a structured approach, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Your key accountabilities and responsibilities will include:
Access Management: Creating, configuring, and revoking access to corporate services in a timely manner, supporting onboarding and offboarding, and maintaining records of granted access.
Password Manager: Administering 1Password or similar tools, creating aliases, and configuring access permissions.
Documentation: Maintaining and updating documentation on user accounts and service configurations, and creating user guides for employees.
Basic Server Administration: Performing routine server configuration and maintenance tasks according to existing instructions.
Technical Research: Researching, analyzing, and comparing technical solutions, services, and alternatives.
Hardware and Equipment: Researching and selecting equipment based on team needs, preparing and configuring devices, and maintaining an inventory of equipment.
Automation: Writing scripts to automate routine processes, including granting and revoking access.
Proxy Support: Periodically updating configurations, monitoring expiration dates, and restoring settings when necessary.
Employee Technical Support: Assisting with work devices, software installation, diagnosing technical issues, and resolving common technical problems.
Corporate Services Administration: Managing users, groups, roles, licenses, and basic settings in Google Workspace, Slack, Figma, and other corporate services.
Information Security: Checking MFA/2FA settings, identifying inactive accounts, excessive access permissions, and potentially insecure configurations.
License and Subscription Management: Tracking corporate subscriptions, monitoring renewal dates, identifying unused licenses, and optimizing costs.
Backup Management: Verifying the availability of backups for critical configurations and documentation, and assisting with recovery according to existing instructions.
