Responsibilities:

  • Lead design and build of major platform subsystems: orchestration, AI-driven processing layers, intelligent routing, multi-tenant controls.
  • Set technical direction across teams for extreme scale, reliability, cost efficiency, and AI capabilities.
  • Own architectural decisions, trade-offs, and long-term quality of critical high-volume components.
  • Mentor senior engineers: in-depth reviews, coaching on distributed systems excellence.
  • Champion optimisations like smart volume reduction and AI-automated handling.
  • Partner with product and leadership on roadmap alignment (e. g., faster insights, broader coverage).
  • Prototype bold ideas for next-level automation and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 8-12+ years scaling large distributed SaaS or data platforms.
  • Expert-level Golang experience at massive production scale.
  • Mastery of event-driven systems (Kafka), microservices, cloud-native architecture, security patterns, and big data approaches.
  • Proven cross-team impact: reliability at scale, meaningful cost reductions, governance.
  • Strong mentoring of seniors and ability to influence technical strategy.
  • Strategic mindset for AI-powered data platforms and enterprise challenges.
