Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Agent Experiences

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join the Agents Experiences team at DataSnipper. This team owns the surface that will power all of our AI experiences - the foundation hundreds of thousands of auditors will use to move from manual work into agentic workflows.

You'll take ownership of building this modern surface: a fast, reliable, cross-platform foundation that replaces our legacy surface and becomes the durable home for every AI experience we build going forward.

This is a rare opportunity to shape a category-defining product's core platform at a $1B, profitable, bootstrapped scale-up, with a direct line of sight to company strategy: this surface is how we bring the vast majority of our existing customer base onto modern technologies, and how we expand beyond just Windows desktop.

What You Will Do

Technical Delivery

• Build with AI as a first-class part of your workflow: use AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate delivery, and critically evaluate AI output against a high quality bar.

• Own the architecture and day-to-day evolution of the web surface that powers our modern experience, end to end, not just a feature at a time.

• Ship the capabilities customers need to confidently move off our legacy surface and onto this new surface.

• Build and maintain the layer that lets AI agents run reliably, bridging today's legacy users to tomorrow's agentic workflows.

• Build and maintain production APIs and services that power the experience, working across the full stack.

• Integrate with Azure and its AI services for document intelligence, 3rd party integrations, storage, cloud infrastructure and many more.

Architecture & Quality

• Architect for a fast-growing, fast-changing product, anticipating future use cases without over-engineering for them today.

• Produce robust, production-ready code; review for correctness, design quality, and maintainability.

• Raise the engineering bar through technical mentorship, high-quality code reviews, and establishing best practices, as one of the most senior voices on this surface.

• Diagnose complex issues and use operational data to drive stability and performance improvements.

Collaboration & Impact

• Partner closely with product and the legacy surface team to sequence the migration path and prioritize what unblocks the most customers.

• Break down ambiguous problems, propose pragmatic solutions, and challenge assumptions when it helps the team.

• Foster a culture of documentation and knowledge sharing within the team and with business stakeholders.

What You Will Bring

Must-Have

• 5+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer, with deep proficiency in TypeScript and a modern front-end framework (React or similar).

• Thrives in ambiguity: you can quickly turn unclear problem spaces into crisp plans, pragmatic execution, and shipped outcomes.

• Moves fast without breaking quality: strong product/engineering judgment, tight feedback loops, and a bias to deliver working increments early.

• Strong, hands-on experience using AI-assisted engineering tools (we use Claude Code) to ship production code - and strong judgment to validate, test, and correct AI output.

• Solid experience building and maintaining data-driven web APIs on a major cloud platform.

• Strong fundamentals of software architecture and system design, and comfort owning it with real autonomy.

• Experience with testing strategies (unit, integration, E2E) and a quality-first mindset.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Office surfaces / Office.js specifically.

• Experience building or integrating AI agentic applications in production.

• Experience with platform migrations, moving customers from a legacy surface to a modern one.

• Experience in audit, fintech, or document-intensive workflows.
