IT Infrastructure Engineer (Thai)

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with an international technology company to recruit an IT Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of the infrastructure layer across production systems, including web applications, CRM integrations, trading infrastructure, databases, networking, security and internal AI infrastructure. The role combines a major infrastructure insourcing phase with ongoing production ownership, reliability and security responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take over and migrate the infrastructure layer of the company website, client portal, CRM integrations and trading systems from external vendors

• Manage production infrastructure across Linux, Windows Server, on-premise and cloud environments

• Own Docker-based deployments, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation

• Manage trading server availability, maintenance, backups, failover and integrations with surrounding systems

• Own Zero Trust networking, firewalls, VPNs, Cloudflare and network segmentation

• Manage production databases including ClickHouse and PostgreSQL with a focus on performance, reliability and backup/restore

• Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting and incident response for infrastructure-level issues

• Own backup, restore and disaster recovery processes, including regular restore testing

• Audit infrastructure access, rotate credentials and enforce least-privilege access

• Maintain infrastructure documentation and system dependency maps

• Support internal AI infrastructure, including LLM serving, AI agents and related services

• Evaluate vendor infrastructure proposals and control server provisioning and database access

• Work closely with CRM, Trading Platform and Development teams while maintaining clear infrastructure ownership

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5+ years of DevOps, SRE or Infrastructure experience with real production ownership, including on-call and incident management

• Strong Linux administration skills, including systemd, networking, firewalls, permissions and shell scripting

• Production-grade Windows Server experience, including services, patching, RDP hardening and backup

• Strong Docker and containerization experience

• Understanding of orchestration principles

• Production database experience, including indexing, query performance and backup/restore

• Strong networking and security knowledge covering DNS, TLS, reverse proxies/tunnels, VPNs, least privilege and secret management

• Experience running production web applications and staging-to-production deployment workflows

• Previous experience with infrastructure migration, vendor takeover or system ownership transition

• Experience with CI/CD, monitoring and observability

• Practical daily use of AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor or similar

• Good Thai communication skills

• Communicable English

• Strong documentation and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively across infrastructure, CRM and trading platform teams

• Understanding of the distinction between infrastructure/server responsibilities and business-level CRM or trading configuration.
