Job Summary
Performs engineering design activities including the development of engineering deliverables and data sheets/specifications for assigned process equipment, prepares quotation request and purchase orders for equipment and materials, and reviews vendor documentation to ensure compliance to specifications. Able to perform as a Mechanical Lead for small projects with responsibilities to include Scopes of Work, Estimating, and Schedule Development.
Responsibilities
- Develops and monitors project scopes and schedules for applicable discipline. Identifies changes in scope / schedule and their impact, as they occur. 25%
- Reviews vendor/supplier drawings/documentation. 25%
- Performs assigned tasks, to assist discipline lead. 25%
- Prepare data sheets, specifications, calculations, sketches, and diagrams. 25%
KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Good understanding of engineering principles, terminology and industry practices.
- Self starter- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Passed or working on obtaining FE exam and working on obtaining PE.
- Effective communication skills.
- Detail oriented
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Required or
- Master’s degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) in Mechanical Engineering Required
- Degree must be ABET accredited, or acceptable to the State Board of Engineers for licensure as a professional engineer Required
- 7+ years 7-12 Years

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the wage range for this role is $102,960 - $154,440. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
