About The Programme

Our 12-months graduate programme is designed to nurture our next generation of leaders. The programme is rigorous and curated based on the principles of our DBS Triple E framework for growth and development.

Experience: On-the-job experience to take on challenging and impactful projects. May include rotations within unit (e.g. for AI & Data Science and Operations) or direct to role (e.g. Technology, Institutional Banking Group, Consumer Banking Group and Global Financial Markets)

Education: Structured training to develop your professional skills including banking fundamentals and soft skills training

Exposure: Opportunities for exposure provided with mentorship from our senior leaders and connect with other individuals with a shared passion for banking and technology in your cohort

Technology Track

Group Technology enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group Technology, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. As a Technology Management Associate, you will work alongside engineers, architects, product teams and technology specialists to deliver secure, scalable and innovative solutions that create better outcomes and experiences for our customers, employees and communities.

Application Development and Support

Create and maintain highly resilient, scalable, high performing and secure end-to-end software and digital solutions to deliver business functionality and enhance both customer and employee journeys.

DevOps and Site-Reliability Engineering

Focus on transforming, governing, and assisting technology teams to achieve improvements in availability, performance, and efficiency for their respective applications/systems.

Information and Cybersecurity

Focus on development, implementation, operations and maintenance of the Bank’s cybersecurity strategy, framework and programme to support and sustain effective information and cyber security risk management across the group.

Data Engineering and Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning

Focus on the delivery of data science/analytical capabilities across the enterprise. To innovate and optimize data as well as machine learning workflows to enable data-driven business activities at large scale and achieve the targeted business outcomes.

Infrastructure and Cloud

Builds a robust, scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure and cloud platform through automation and innovation. This is crucial in supporting applications that are essential for the services that the bank offers to its customers, aiming to enhance the customer experience and service delivery.

Who Are We Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Foundational understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Understanding of software development lifecycle principles

• Strong interest in technology and a willingness to learn new tools, frameworks, and programming concepts.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.

• Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative setting.

AI & Data Science Track

The Data Chapter was formed to accelerate our ambition of becoming an AI-fuelled bank and to build a strong community of data professionals who are passionate about driving meaningful data-driven impact. As an AI-enabled bank with a heart, we believe technology and data should be used not only to drive innovation, but also to create better outcomes for our customers, employees, and communities.

As a Data Scientist within our AI & Data Science track at the World’s Best AI Bank, you will work alongside fellow Data Scientists, Data Translators, Data Analysts, and Engineers to tackle complex business challenges using Advanced Analytics, AI/ML, and Generative AI. You will gain hands-on experience building and deploying real-world AI solutions while developing strong foundations in machine learning, AI, and data science.

You may have the opportunity to work on one or more of the following areas:

• Build GenAI & Agentic AI Solutions: Build LLM-powered applications such as copilots and AI agents, including exploring cutting-edge Agentic frameworks, prompt & context engineering, building and integrating reusable tools, performing evaluations, and implementing safety guardrails.

• Ensure Responsible AI and Engineering Standards: Govern AI solutions to be safe, reliable, and scalable with proper testing, guardrails, and security controls.

• Develop Machine Learning and Deep Learning Models: Develop, train, and tune predictive models using modern ML and deep learning approaches, including frameworks such as PyTorch.

• Apply MLOps and Deployment Practices: Apply MLOps principles to ensure reproducibility, versioning, deployment readiness, and monitoring of models in real enterprise environments.

• Learn Through Community and Practice: Master GenAI and Agentic AI through productive community sharing workshops including the latest research & frameworks, hands-on sessions, etc.

Who Are We Looking For

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about leveraging Artificial Intelligence and data-driven innovation to transform banking and create meaningful customer impact, and who demonstrate leadership potential, a strong commitment to their values, and a drive to make a positive difference through technology and data.

Additionally, you have and/or are:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognised university in Data Science, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related discipline

• A good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and programming concepts, with proficiency in Python and common data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn

• Knowledge of Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and AI Agents

• Foundational knowledge of prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and vector databases

• Familiarity with AI framework and tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, and Google ADK or similar technologies would be advantageous

• A self-motivated team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

• Adaptable, creative, decisive, and resilient, with strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels
