Responsibilities:
Coordinate, plan and maintain the release roadmap for one or more applications
Plan and coordinate multiple parallel releases and deployments
Plan release go-live and post-go-live activities
Plan, coordinate and track change activities throughout the release process
Lead release decision meetings and secure stakeholder approval for release milestones
Plan and facilitate handover sessions between development and operations teams
Collaborate with Release Managers, Test Managers, Product Owners, Execution Leads, Scrum Masters and Operations teams to ensure successful deliveries
Improve release quality and efficiency through automation, release orchestration and DevOps practices
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management and planning
Proven experience in release or deployment management activities
Strong networking, interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
Analytical mindset with strong coordination and planning abilities
Ability to pay attention to details while maintaining an overall view of deliveries and dependencies
Accountability, proactivity and ability to adapt quickly to change
Practical understanding of Agile, Scrum and SAFe methodologies
Highly proficient spoken and written English
Technical mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with development teams
Experience creating and validating deployment runbooks in collaboration with technical teams
Experience working with incident, problem and change management processes and tools under the ITIL framework
Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
Experience working with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices
Basic understanding of DevOps ways of working
Ability to work with release orchestration tools and automated release pipelines
Flexibility to work paid evening and weekend hours during implementation activities
Nice to have:
Experience in the banking sector
Experience with incident, problem and change management processes on the client side
