Expert Data Engineer
Responsibilities:
Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
Experience in developing and maintaining ETL packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Experience with SQL Server Agent job scheduling and monitoring
Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
Knowledge of cloud-based data platform Snowflake
Build and maintain data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from multiple source systems
Design, develop, and maintain complex stored procedures, functions, views, and SQL scripts to implement business rules and data transformation logic
Implement data validation and data quality checks within ETL processes
Knowledge of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and dimensional modelling
Manage changes and deployments activities
Perform database maintenance activities, including index, query optimization and performance tuning
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
Requirements:
Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
Proven experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL package development and maintenance
Practical experience with SQL Server Agent job scheduling and monitoring
Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and dimensional modelling
Hands-on knowledge of Git or other version control systems
Experience working with Snowflake cloud data platform
Ability to implement data validation and data quality controls within ETL processes
Experience in database maintenance, query optimization, and performance tuning
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Very good command of English, both spoken and written
Nice to have:
Knowledge of Generative AI
