This role is ideal for professionals whose core background is in:

  • Data Analysis

  • Data Modeling

  • Data Warehousing

  • Data Governance

rather than Data Engineers transitioning into analysis.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, analytics teams, and engineering teams to design scalable and compliant enterprise data structures supporting healthcare and life sciences initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data profiling, validation, and quality analysis

  • Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models

  • Build scalable Star/Snowflake schemas

  • Translate business requirements into source-to-target mappings

  • Collaborate with ETL/ELT and Data Engineering teams

  • Maintain metadata, lineage, and data governance documentation

  • Support MDM and compliance initiatives

  • Optimize analytical database performance

  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and GxP standards

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum delivery processes

Required Skills

  • Strong experience as Data Analyst and/or Data Modeler

  • Relational and dimensional data modeling expertise

  • ERwin / ER-Studio / PowerDesigner or similar

  • Advanced SQL and query optimization

  • Data Warehousing / Data Lake / Lakehouse concepts

  • SQL Server / PostgreSQL / Snowflake / Oracle / Redshift

  • Data governance and metadata management

  • Agile/Scrum experience

  • Git/version control familiarity

Nice to Have

  • DBT / Informatica / Talend / Azure Data Factory / AWS Glue

  • AWS / Azure / GCP exposure

  • Python / PySpark

  • Databricks / Spark / Kafka

  • Power BI / Tableau / QuickSight

  • Data Vault 2.0

  • Pharma / Healthcare / Life Sciences experience
