About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Java SRE Engineer with a strong background in Application Production Support or Application Maintenance.
You will support large-scale enterprise Java applications in production, ensuring high availability and system stability while investigating incidents, troubleshooting application issues and performing root-cause analysis. Send CV to [email protected]
Key Responsibilities
Provide production application support for large-scale enterprise applications.
Monitor, investigate and resolve production incidents within agreed service levels.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Java-based applications.
Support applications running in Unix/Linux environments.
Execute SQL queries for data analysis, validation and issue investigation.
Monitor application performance, JVM health and server resources.
Perform root-cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure and business teams to resolve complex production issues.
Support Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.
Participate in application deployments, release support and post-implementation monitoring.
Maintain operational documentation.
Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements
5-7 years of experience in Application Production Support or Application Maintenance.
Strong hands-on experience supporting Java applications.
Solid understanding of application architecture.
Experience supporting enterprise applications in production environments.
Good knowledge of JVM concepts, application logs and Java troubleshooting.
Strong SQL skills for data analysis and issue investigation.
Hands-on Unix/Linux experience, including server-level troubleshooting.
Experience supporting applications hosted on large-scale server environments.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical and root-cause analysis skills.
Understanding of ITSM, including Incident, Problem and Change Management.
Knowledge of production support best practices, operational governance and service delivery processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
