Location: Hyderabad- TG, India

Shift Timings Working 8 hours/day between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM IST, with flexible weekly offs based on business requirements.

Job Description: The New Verticals Associate supports Deliveroo’s grocery and retail growth by delivering high-quality operational work across inventory (price/stock), catalogue/menu management, and taxonomy/data quality. The role ensures partners trade smoothly and customers see accurate, compliant, easy-to-shop catalogues. Reports to the Skills Centre Squad Lead.

This is a fixed-term position for 9 months. The contract may be extended or converted into a permanent role depending on business requirements, role availability, performance, and organisational needs at that time.

Key responsibilities

• Google Sheets/Excel & automation: Strong ability to handle Google Sheets/Excel, manage structured data, and create logical automations is a must.

• Inventory management (P&S): Run daily/weekly price and stock updates across partners/sites; validate inputs and flag discrepancies early.

• Catalogue/menu operations: Support menu creation for launches, menu refreshes, and ongoing fixes such as items, images, and attributes across Platform and integrated flows.

• Taxonomy & data quality: Maintain correct L1/L2/L3/L4 categorisation, brand labelling/overrides, and support range proofing during onboarding.

• Compliance/content moderation: Identify and remove restricted/prohibited items to protect policy compliance.

• Promotions/campaign execution: Add, update, and remove promos accurately and on time; support campaign checks.

• Partner onboarding/admin setup: Handle high-volume setup tasks such as profiles and site details under tight timelines.

• Competitor/market checks: Support competitor analysis when required.

  Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong ownership, prioritisation, and attention to detail; SOP adherence

  • Confident in Google Sheets/Excel (filters, pivots, lookups, data checks)

  • Clear written/verbal communication; proactive escalation and updates

  • Comfortable with workflow tools (e.g., monday.com / forms + trackers)

  • Agile problem solver who can learn new scopes quickly

    Role Overview

    The New Verticals Associate supports Deliveroo’s grocery and retail growth by delivering high-quality operational work across inventory (price/stock), catalogue/menu management, and taxonomy/data quality. This role ensures that partners trade smoothly and customers see accurate, compliant, and easy-to-shop catalogues. You will report to the Skills Centre Squad Lead.

    Key Responsibilities
