Electrical Senior Principal Engineer (Server)
Our Electrical Engineering team puts the spark into the full hardware development lifecycle, from concept to production. It takes experts in system architecture definition, design, analysis, prototyping, sourcing & the debugging and validation of layouts or routes to deliver state-of-the-art products for a changing world. We work closely with designers, cross-functional teams within Dell Technologies and suppliers to make sure electronic designs meet a range of requirements, including schedule, feature set, functionality and quality, as well as industry standards.

What you’ll achieve
As an Electrical Senior Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering new PCBA technologies and logic solutions that scale across our next-generation enterprise portfolio. You will work with a deeply technical and dynamic team of electrical engineers as well as cross-functional global teams to innovate and deliver game-changing products in our server marketspace!
You will:
- Design next-generation HW features in partnership with front end teams and industry partners
- Drive feature and cost trade-off analysis to provide technical recommendations
- Lead board-level and system-level hardware issue triage, debugging, and root cause analysis across development, validation, and production phases.
- Drive resolution of complex electrical and system integration issues by working closely with validation teams, ODM partners, and key component suppliers.
Identify design, manufacturing, and reliability risks and implement corrective actions to improve product robustness and quality.

Essential Requirements
- Experience in product development from early Concept through production
- Competency in both analog and digital design
- Proficiency with EE design and simulation tools
- Deep knowledge of PCB layout design practices
- Bachelor of EE with 12 + years of related experience or master of EE with 10+ years of related experience
Desirable Requirements
- Knowledgeable in x86 architecture
- Experience with Cadence tool suite
