• Overall, you’re an ideas person and problem solver as well as a hands-on doer - that’s important. You know it takes a mix of people to do amazing work, so you love collaborating with and learning from people with different skills, backgrounds and perspectives. If you have an interesting or unusual mix of skills yourself, even better.
• You have advanced knowledge of Node.js with TypeScript and apply this to build composable applications.
• You are experienced designing and developing AWS serverless solutions using EventBridge, SQS, Lambda and Fargate, meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
• You have demonstrable experience building solutions using modern design patterns and architectures (e.g. serverless, event-driven).
• You have hands on experience of CI/CD processes and tooling (ideally on Github) and how these should be implemented to ensure quality and security.
• You are experienced leading and coaching engineers within agile projects to accelerate incremental delivery.
• You are AWS Associate, Professional or Specialty certified.
• You have experience developing and delivering solutions running in container environments (e.g. Kubernetes)

Essentials

·You have experience using AI-assisted coding tools like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to optimise development workflows and enable AI-orchestrated automated software delivery.
