Internship Website Design & Development Intern

DeltaFrontier Pte Ltd is an AIoT solutions provider (headquartered in Singapore) focused on digital transformation for workspaces, buildings and data centres across Southeast Asia. The Website Design & Development Intern is responsible for designing, building and maintaining the corporate website and campaign landing pages — handling both UI/design and front-end implementation to ensure accurate content, cross-device performance, accessibility, security and conversion of visitors into enquiries. This is a remote internship (3–6 months) with work hours overlapping Singapore business hours.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce wireframes, mockups and high-fidelity designs for website pages, landing pages and digital assets; apply brand standards and prepare/optimise imagery and assets.
• Design responsive layouts and refine navigation to support clear user journeys across desktop, tablet and mobile.
• Build and amend web pages using HTML, CSS and JavaScript; implement designs in the Company CMS (WordPress) including theme customisation, templates and plugin configuration.
• Ensure correct rendering across major browsers and devices; implement and test enquiry forms and lead-capture elements; test work in a staging environment before submission.
• Carry out routine content updates; monitor and improve page load performance (image optimisation, asset management); apply on-page SEO fundamentals (titles, meta descriptions, headings, alt text, internal linking).
• Monitor uptime, broken links and form functionality; support platform/theme/plugin updates with verified backups; compile periodic reporting on traffic, performance and conversions.
• Build campaign/event landing pages to support marketing timelines; maintain documentation of site structure, credentials handling, template usage and custom code; apply and review AI-assisted coding/design output before deployment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Web Design, Web Development, Computer Science, IT, Digital Media, Multimedia Design or related discipline. Recent graduates and final-year students eligible; no prior full-time experience required.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken); working familiarity with Mandarin is desirable.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript; ability to build and amend responsive pages.
• Practical familiarity with a CMS (in particular WordPress): themes, pages, plugins, templates.
• Competence in a design tool such as Figma, Adobe XD or Adobe Photoshop for layouts and asset preparation.
• Understanding of responsive design principles, cross-browser behaviour, testing and care in handling live systems.
• Portfolio with at least one website or web project the candidate designed or built and can explain.
• Working familiarity with AI coding/design assistants and the judgement to review and test generated output.
• Reliable internet connection and suitable personal working setup with availability overlapping Singapore business hours.
• Desirable: basic PHP for WordPress customisation; familiarity with Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS; exposure to React/Vue/Next.js; version control with Git; understanding of hosting, DNS and SSL; familiarity with Google Analytics 4 / Search Console; awareness of web accessibility (WCAG); experience with UI animation/video embedding.
