  • Develop a strong external market presence for dentsu in the health and wellness sector through thought leadership, events, client forums, industry partnerships, and executive-level relationship building.

Capability Development

  • Build and scale health-specific marketing and media offerings that draw on dentsu’s strengths in media planning and buying, performance marketing, creative, social, influencer, CRM, commerce, data, analytics, technology, and customer experience.
  • Translate category needs into practical service offerings, playbooks, productized solutions, and go-to-market platforms that help clients modernize brand building, acquisition, engagement, loyalty, and measurement.
  • Ensure dentsu’s health work balances creativity, compliance, performance, empathy, and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Collaborate with specialist leaders across dentsu brands to assemble integrated teams that can meet client needs with agility, depth, and consistency.

Client Leadership and Sector Expertise

  • Serve as a senior advisor to clients, starting with Aetna, on health and wellness marketing transformation, including audience strategy, omnichannel media, brand positioning, patient and consumer engagement, HCP engagement, content strategy, measurement, and innovation.
  • Help existing health clients expand into new products, audiences, channels, and commercial opportunities by applying dentsu’s capabilities to the unique challenges of the health sector.
  • Bring a strong understanding of health and wellness audiences, including patients, consumers, caregivers, practitioners, providers, payers, and retail partners.
  • Stay current on market trends, competitive dynamics, regulatory considerations, privacy expectations, and emerging technologies affecting health marketing and media.

Success Measures

  • Growth in health and wellness revenue (starting with Aetna), pipeline and new client acquisition.
  • Stability and expansion of existing client relationships in the healthcare space (Accelerator and cross practice) through integrated marketing, media, data, creative, and experience solutions.
  • Development of clear, marketable health and wellness offerings and clear health & wellness partner strategies that follow dentsu’s strategy of being “designed for difference” to strengthen pitch conversion and narrative against key competitors.
  • Improved collaboration within health and wellness across dentsu capabilities, resulting in stronger integrated work and more cohesive client delivery
  • Recognition of dentsu as a credible, innovative, and growth partner in the health and wellness sector.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience leading complex regional or global client relationships.
  • Proven success in driving growth, leading change, and managing integrated marketing teams.
  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with a track record of delivering business impact.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Well organized and self-directed individual who is a team player
