Job Description:

Manager, Client Delivery

Role Overview

You're both a trusted client partner and a delivery leader. In this role, you own the day-to-day execution of your assigned projects while building and maintaining strong client relationships. You keep timelines on track, budgets in check, teams aligned, and clients informed. You solve problems creatively, escalate thoughtfully, and navigate complex situations with sound judgement and leadership presence. You're developing your craft as a strategic operator, building financial acumen, sharpening your delivery instincts, and elevating your team through strong commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership

  • Be the trusted day-to-day resource and strategic partner for clients on all project matters, building solid rapport and serving as a confident, professional presence.
  • Effectively communicate agency strategies, creative work, and points of view to clients with clarity and confidence
  • Demonstrate sound judgment in difficult situations, resolving issues collaboratively and escalating appropriately to senior leadership when needed

Project Delivery & Execution

  • Own day-to-day delivery across multiple workstreams, project and campaigns ensuring all work is executed on time, on budget, and to high-quality standards
  • Build and maintain detailed project timelines and workback schedules, identifying dependencies and proactively flagging timing risks or downstream impacts.
  • Lead project management documentation including status reports, meeting notes, and issue tracking
  • Initiate new projects within the agency and manage workflows from kickoff through delivery
  • Coordinate across Client Leadership, Strategy, Creative, Production and agency partners to keep teams aligned on timing, scope, deliverables and next steps.
  • Maintain core project documentation, including status trackers, timelines, meeting recaps, action items and approval tracking.
  • Proactively identify risks, blockers or changes to scope and timing, recommending solutions before they affect delivery.

Integrated Campaign Experience

  • Support integrated work across shopper, commerce, creative, production and activation.
  • Coordinate work across internal teams, departments and agency partners.

Translate briefs into clear workstreams, deliverables, dependencies and timelines.

  • Apply experience working with creative teams; shopper, commerce, activation or experiential experience is preferred but not required.

Financial & Resource Management

  • Track and manage team hours, out-of-pocket expenses, and budgets in collaboration with Finance and Account Management
  • Review and assess weekly financial reports, flagging variances to leadership
  • Manage resourcing allocations, ensuring the right people are assigned at the right levels for project success
  • Contribute to monthly financial rollups and internal billing discussions
  • Manage $1-3MM in business with senior oversight and develop growing familiarity with project and retainer financial models

Technology & Agentic Tools

  • Actively learn and adopt new project management technologies and AI-powered tools as they are introduced
  • Apply agentic tools and emerging workflows to your day-to-day project delivery, identifying practical time savings and quality improvements
  • Participate in tool pilots and share observations with senior leadership to help inform team-wide adoption
  • Proactively explore how new tools can make your delivery practice sharper and more efficient

Team Leadership & Process

  • Champion all agency and departmental processes, actively advocating for and executing them across your projects
  • Contribute to process improvement by flagging gaps and bringing development ideas to senior leadership
  • Bring new ideas and industry best practice recommendations to leadership's attention

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of account management, project management, or client-facing agency experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Solid understanding of integrated campaigns and end-to-end project management of low-to-mid complexity projects
  • Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail, timeline ownership, and budget tracking
  • Proactive communicator who keeps cross-functional teams and clients informed and surfaces issues before they escalate
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Developing financial acumen with experience tracking hours, expenses, and budgets
  • Comfortable with creative problem-solving, working collaboratively, and leading across cross-functional teams
  • Eagerness to adopt and apply emerging PM tools and AI-powered solutions in your everyday practice

Location

  • Hybrid position based in New York City or Chicago.
  • Candidates should be able to work from the office on a regular basis and collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients in person as needed.
