As a Financial Data Valorization Analyst, you use and valorize data collected from different channels. You extract, describe, analyze and interpret the data needed to make informed business decisions. You prepare recommendations, solutions and action plans based on the organization’s objectives and priorities. You serve as a data use resource person for practitioners. You combine analytical rigour, organization and leadership skills to solve complex problems, simplify information, and help people make informed decisions in an environment where change and ambiguity are omnipresent. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Analyze and identify user needs, work on data valorization initiatives and ensure operationalization through cross-sector coordination
- Conduct research and descriptive and diagnostic analysis to ensure optimal data use. Make recommendations in line with business issues and needs
- During regulatory production periods, ensure the completion of certain operational activities related to the preparation, validation and distribution of data to support business experts with their analysis tasks and help ensure the organization complies with regulatory obligations
- Identify opportunities to improve methods and processess, and recommend improvements to data management tools
- Coordinate with software suppliers, our business teams, IT, governance and other teams within the Desjardins ecosystem

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, accounting, finance or a related field
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Experience coming up with solutions and changes regarding data processing
- Experience managing various areas of focus (business needs, continuous improvement, change management, implementing solutions, etc.)
- Knowledge of French is required
- Knowledge of SQL, relational data models and data governance
- Knowledge of the banking sector, financial reporting processes and terminology
