Wage Range: $18.00 - $25.00 /hr.
Must hold a valid New Jersey Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) state license.

We’re looking for a compassionate, motivated Certified Veterinary Technician who wants to be part of a supportive environment that values high-quality care, collaboration, and genuine community connection. Our clinic is deeply rooted in the Livingston community, and we’re proud of the relationships we build with both clients and local partners.
We are dedicated to staying current with the latest advancements in diagnostics, medical treatments, surgical procedures, and preventative wellness. Pups at Play is equipped for excellence. We provide top-of-the-line medical, surgical, and dental equipment, as well as in house ultrasound.
Your Role - Clinical Driver & Leader
As a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), you will be encouraged to work at the top of your license and serve as a clinical leader, ensuring medical excellence with a patient-first mindset. We follow AAHA utilization guidance consistently.
You will primarily utilize your skills in:
Anesthesia & Analgesia: Full IV catheterization, multimodal pain management, induction, and advanced monitoring/recovery.
Dentistry: Full-mouth dental radiography, charting, and periodontal therapy (per DVM direction).
Diagnostics: High-quality radiography/positioning, in-house lab analysis, and sample collection.
Nursing & Triage: Critical patient monitoring, advanced wound care, and managing catheters/feeding tubes.
Workflow Leadership: Leading tech appointments, team huddles, and mentoring assistants/externs.

Schedule: Full-time with flexible scheduling options (choose 4 ten-hour or 5 eight-hour shifts) and a predictable weekend rotation.
