What You'll Do
- Develop, maintain, and optimize production schedules to ensure efficient workflow and on time delivery.
- Coordinate the flow of work orders, materials, and production priorities across manufacturing operations.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to maintain the right balance between availability and stock optimization.
- Work closely with the Procurement team to ensure materials are available when needed and support material requirements planning.
- Plan and coordinate the allocation of equipment, materials, and production capacity to maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with Production teams to monitor manufacturing progress, identify deviations from plan, and ensure production targets are achieved.
- Identify production bottlenecks, material shortages, and operational constraints, implementing solutions to minimize disruptions.
- Partner with Logistics to ensure finished products are delivered according to customer commitments.
- Prepare and maintain accurate production records, schedules, inventory data, and performance reports.
- Analyze production performance and recommend process improvements that increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of previous experience in production planning, manufacturing planning, supply chain, or production control within an industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of production planning methodologies, inventory management, and material requirements planning.
- Experience working with ERP or MRP systems for production scheduling and inventory management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize multiple production activities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production planning tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across Production, Procurement, Logistics, and Operations teams.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Fluent English. Additional languages are considered an advantage.
