About the Programme

The Code First Girls Mid-Level Accelerator Programme is designed for women with 1.5+ years of technical experience who want to deepen their skills and accelerate into new technology roles.

This 16-week programme combines advanced technical training with real-world project work and professional development.

Upon successful completion of the programme, the graduates will have upgraded their skills and will have the opportunity to be considered for a new technology role within DB Global Technology Romania.

About DB Global Technology

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

We have a robust, hands-on engineering culture dedicated to continuous learning, knowledge-sharing, technical skill development and networking. We are an essential part of the Bank’s technology platform and develop applications for many important business areas.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Python applications, ensuring clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement software solutions, contributing to innovative projects.
• Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing applications for performance and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes and best practices.
• Stay proactive in learning new technologies and tools, bringing fresh ideas and a positive attitude to the team.

Skills

• Basic experience with Python and a passion for technology.
• Foundational understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for tackling new challenges.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
